ive got a minter on the gold label (am told its a bit rarer) than the red n white one . tel me what price you was thinking its worth ??

i received one of my long awaited records today from the usa . value just over the permited £18 your alloed before you get shafted for the customs charge . my record value came to £18 and 2 pence . due to the measly 2 pence i had to pay the customs charge of £11.28 .i would have thought there would be some middle ground but no . has anybody had the same experiance regarding the small amount i was over?, ie 2 pence

think i paid 200 .and its for sale in a week or two

i think its down to what sort of people are going to be at the venue your doing and if your any good you will ether turn them down and say sorry its not for me or you would take a good mix of records in the first place thats right for that venue . ie having the records to do it' what does my head in' is ill informed people that tend to pigion hole dj's

One of Butch's 100 club spins covered as the Philadelphians , also an oldie of a similar time was the Mello Souls - We can make it covered as the Del Larks as I remember it was batterd soon as folks knew what it was and that wasant long after he played it' its still a top tune love it ' .....was batterd at burnley by cliff and others for a long time . as for yer cheapo ten aquid records . am sick of hearing people saying that on here but realy its a load of bolocks most of the time .not all the time but most lol . satin

well i supose yes and no.not realy given the price of most records these days !!! another misconception by the il informed is that rarer records are all weard unknown records that no bugger knows .completly wrong loads of well known classics are rare some more than others

sombody that spends every penny they have on records !!! if you didnt have the pasion then you wouldnt be spending everything you had on them ......regardles of what they are oldies cheap rare or expensive

disagree with what? regarding the records being important thats exactly what am saying the records shuld come first but instead these days its based more on how many punters the guy is going to bring . its all ...you come to our's and we will come to yours its sad , regarding rarety and how much they cost . where are they playing them as i would like to go ?? coz they f... sure arnt playing them at any place near me . thats my point all i hear is the same tunes over and over by the same er? dj's personly i dont realy want to be listning to somthing that you hear all over the place but if i do then i would like it to be on an original. but anyway if yer play somthing diferent then most of the time your not wanted as you wont fill the place . even worse manly due to gossip you offten find that the people that have the records as well as rarer and expensive tunes never get a chance to play them ....as there tarred with the rare and expensive brush for the rest of there life i try and avoid gossip and hardly go out to soul does any more as i offten find a lot of gealousy and tickletacklin thats mainly unfounded or made up!! just my opinion wigan paul ps: thats why i started st tersas to play somthing diferent somtimes rarer somtimes not somtimes expensive somtimes cheap and i sufferd because of it ' so if anybody cares about what they play mate ? its me!!

talking about my babys love ..on dyna mite ...mint minus ..... offers ? will hang fire for a week if not enough . then it goes back in the box . no despperation to sell .

one or two rare tunes going up for sale over next day or two maybe or then again i may hang on a bit longer dipending on intorest . anyway for now here is very rare jed parker spinn on almon mint minus £450

jessie james is true mint_ extremly clean copy . judy stokes is vg++ or ex . plays without any problems . offers on both please . dont be suprised if you dont get a reply same as i wont be suprised if i get some silly offers . cheers
