a 'label' or 'sign' is to assist in the finding of something/somewhere. if the term leads people to what they are looking for then it serves it's purpose.

i have no problem with it not being up to the minute but i do have a problem when dee-jays play a record which is being heard for the fourth time in one night!
i had to smudge, i just knew both the right track AND moses smith AND many others were going to (and actually were) played 4 times in the same night.
still, they danced to kenny thomas so one would reasonably presume at least one would dance to marvin!
