Agree..people should stop buying them full stop...then ace could release it for the collecters who cant make the night.

Record store day is no fun.....last year we waited for over 4 hours only to be told when we got to the counter......that's gone, that's gone, and yes that's bloody well gone already......but we have that one LP only........stuff that.....to much wasted time.. Then like the post above ,,Comes out on damn ebay ther same day.......piss take.....hope the whole thing falls flat on its face... And they get stuck with the stuff........you only supposed to be allowed one of each ?????.....Yet sellers have more stock ?.. The record shops who get the stock out partly to blame......I tend to buy LPs for most of the year.....cheaper on amazon... And yes I would use my nearest shop but its a rip off......and Record store day does not help.............Shame.

Hey up mate, don't suppose these would fit the pro-ject Debut 2 , decks ???.....the debut decks are fitted with the Ortofon 5e , ....any help , let me know....or if you can get any in.....thanks...martyn

Ian Dewhirst, just a thought mate, can you let us know where we can find out what goodies they keep bringing out, vinyl, and cd sets, etc.......As I believe your last thread as been locked.....and we have to hunt round for them ?....Damned if I can find where it was moved to. ...... Also just had a chat with my mate who also ordered the philly set.....and as yet no email, or delivery ?

Just a thought....you can pick up without speakers the Denon DM 39...about £169.......which is a space saving unit..,which will be a cd, dab, unit + usb input to let you play your files...etc....But even though it does habe a rca input..( normal 2 wire leads )...think to play a turntable through it you will need the pro-ject phono box thingy ?.....But check.Richer, superfi, sell these.

Get yourself over to the nearest Richer sounds mate if you can.....or Superfi , ...etc.....But also when you do see something you like, check the web for decent prices......If youre playing vinyl, cd, etc...you will need a hifi stereo amp.....don't get mixed up and buy a multi cinema type amp...even if cheaper...these are for tv, dvd speakers set up..etc...... You will need a amp with built in phono stage....or you will need to buy a small phono stage thingy...like pro-ject. also think about how many speakers you will require...you may only need the normal one set for one room...But some amps like mine have two sets so you can use two sets of speakers, say for two rooms at the same time, or either room... Then think how many units you will be using it for......deck, cd, cassette even, tuner, ...etc......Good luck.

Great record in the Fania latin style.....might be of no use if you only want the 7in, or 12in....but I required this the other week on a very good cd........latin new york grooves...£4......

Not buying so many 45s...But collecting most of the newer Lp releases coming out...most on 180 gram vinyl.....also picked up the Northern soul the film box set...and the rare invictus box sets......not only collecting soul, but also jazz, latin, etc...Gotta get them while we can.........
