  1. Apologies if its been done. Not bothered if you love it or hate it, a simple straight forward answer. Can't recall ever seeing one for sale ( proper one that is ) If it ever came up how much would this be expected to fetch.
  2. No 1 - Ward Burton - Sweet Temptation No 2 - Sam Dees - Soul Sister
  3. Some oft Mums old Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson stuff have seen better days. She used to have the old gramophone with the stacker and the Arm that came across dropping, supposedly, the next one, usually 2 or 3, down. And what the hell was that weird material they used on the fromt of the speakers in the 60's
  4. Where can you pick that up from then Gary ?
  5. I know of some DJs that have Original copies at home and play Pressings etc so the Original, which they keep at home, doesn't get scratched in case they want to sell the Original, which they keep at home. Aparently.
  6. After a copy of :- Marva Holiday - It's Written All Over My Face Looking through my stuff and it appears to be missing. Found I've lost a few recently. Must get a lock for my Box. Always had trust but it seems that we have a slightly different crowd these days.
  7. RIP Mick. Loved and respected by all your peers. You touched the hearts of so many.

  10. Ha ha. Cheers Pete, He does have a point though !!
  11. If you're a buyer then the fact that Larry Santos is such an iconic track the Jon Ford version is frowned upon as being a poor cousin and so not an in demander. Remember when John V played it at Samantha's and got an EMI ( all I could afford at the time ) backed with World Column !! Want a copy for personal gratification as it hold special memories of that time for me.
  12. Cheers Rod
  13. What does he want for it ?? Can you get him to PM me Cheers
  14. Thanks guys. Came and went. Obviously ' the other one ' was so huge it never really had a chance. Difficult to get hold of ? Can't recall seeing one for sale anytime !! I know it's not a monster but as you said, Mr V used to play it at Wigan and of course Samantha's !
