  1. A Big City, but which one?
  2. Conflicting reports of L.A, New York or Detroit? Can someone help please?
  3. Pat has now called me personally and I realize that it was a genuine mistake. Pat was auctioning this for someone and therefore could not let it go at that price. I am sure he's a reasonable and trustworthy man and would be happy to deal with him in the future. Thanks to Pat for explaining and the best of luck to you. Steve
  4. I know now.. I have since discovered that this was being auctioned on someones behalf (he pm'd me) so i do understand this is a genuine mistake. I feel now that the owner of this record won't get such a good return knowing there are offers on this thread to sell this record and and my blurting out the price I paid! Let's see, I hope it all works out well. Perhaps Pat Brady will make amends to all concerned? I'd still would have liked Pat Brady to acknowledge me. And I feel on behalf of the owner of this record
  5. I agree. Well done Tim Brown
  6. No!...A set sale price is exactly that.
  7. Thanks Paul but I was lucky enough to pick one up @£150. I agree that JM's may have been a factor in this. I'm just getting a bit fed up as similiar things have happened to me with three of the 'big dealers' already this year.
  8. Spoke directly to the owner and am assured an EX. Thanks for your concern. I still make my point though that if a record is listed at £150 that's what I should have paid mistake or no mistake by a 'trainee'. It's good to know that Pat Brady is able to employ new staff though in this day and age!
  9. Yeh, happy bunny. Wanted £175 so a bargain methinks Still not happy with PB though
  10. Thanks Joan, I just manage to secure one via Gemm for £150 so to Pat Brady!!!!!
  11. Many thanks for the info Nick. I too noticed JM's copy was up first and wondered if this had any bearing on PB's decision to auction his? Would be good to get PB's copy for less than £150
  12. Last week I ordered a copy of Richard Caiton - i see love girl in your eyes- for £150 on set sale. I was mailed to say it was not available at this price. A mistake was made by a trainee and should be at auction. I was advised that it would be ready to bid on in a few days. Can they do this? Surely a listed price is what you pay? I Emailed Pat Brady but never recieved the courtesy of a reply.
  13. Or was it Bill Clinton that Ian danced with????
  14. Yeh, why would you spell the name of your label wrong????? I have also queried this about the Margaret Salters track on Bill Lintony's label 'LITONY' !!???!! I reckon ABC had it sussed!!!!!!
  15. On the orange one it states published by LITONY records. I'm hoping that Ian (whilst dancing) pointed out the obvious errors to Mr Linton to avoid embarrassment....
