Fred Johnson
Thanks for the reply. Appreciated. As far as I know it is in good condition, although no original sleeve, so the £130 mark could be a realistic figure. Thanks for the reply. I suppose it is like everything else, depends on how much someone wants it.

Fred Johnson
Not being overly familiar with vinyl and it’s worth, is there any value in a dj copy of Fred Johnson - Don’t Leave Me on Shi-lush Records?

THE HILLSIDERS
Ok, I know that they were something of a country and western group, but does anyone have any info on The Hillsiders who had a release on the Motown subsidiary label Mel-o-dy? Thanks for your time and any help you can offer.

TOMORDEN SOUL BOOKLET
It is a bit like London buses now. Go for ages without seeing a copy, then three suddenly appear. Great to finally have seen it, if not actually holding a copy, but it turned up and that's the main thing, as I can use the scans I have for what I want. Cheers.

Many thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, like you, Tim is uncertain to where his copy is! If you should find it, please get back in touch. Thanks again and I least I know there is a copy out there.

TOMORDEN SOUL BOOKLET
Hi. Does anyone out there have a copy of the small booklet that was produced in the 1980’s (I think) on the soul scene in the Todmorden area? Not necessary wanting to buy, as I would be more than happy with a scan/photo of the pages. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Soul In Print - A History of Soul Fanzines and Magazines - New Book
Thanks so much for your 'review' of the book. It was certainly a task putting it all together. More so in attempting to do a 'Top Five' or whatever, as I think I mentioned, every editor deserves praise for what he produced. It was difficult to pick between 'Basement' and 'There's That Beat' for many different reasons. The former is a stand alone publication, but it was the latter that hypnotised me with its lay-out and images. Thanks again for buying the book and I am glad you enjoyed it. Regards, IAIN

LADIES OF SOUL FANZINE
I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with details of the 'Ladies of Soul' fanzine that appeared a number of years ago? It was edited by Chris Williams and I have only one un-dated copy here, but would like to know more about it, such as - when did it first appear, how many issues were there etc etc. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks for your time. Stay safe.
