Well said Mike. There ain't no smoke without fire and give a person a match and see what happens. WHOOOOF! I heard it's against the law to slag someone off in public in the U.K. now, is that correct?? If so why should they be allowed to do it on a soul friendly forum. As we say down under, SO MUCH SOUL SO LITTLE TIME. Just enjoy it while you can guy's, the list of ' passed away's' gets longer every week. O.K. Malc, sounds like you were there and you have obviously seen the dvd right through. So can you put a title and artist to the song please. The girl eating a burger on the dancefloor while the song is playing obviously knows it as she is clearly seen singing the words. G'Day, can anyone PLEASE tell me the title and artist of the record playing while the girl on the dancefloor is eating the burger and dancing. I think it's from Ginger's set and it sounds like i need you baby or need you want you. Got it from the d.v.d. and sounds great. Someone on the site must have been there and knows the song. Sorry Malc i was living in OZ then but would have been there for sure. Anyway as i live a stones throw from the beach the best plans are set in sand mate. As we say here a happy ship catches a fair breeze and as long as a second Unity do is in your mind then it will happen, just a matter of when not if eh?? I will keep an eye on the events thread, just let me know and hopefully it will be when we are over there, usually April and September for 2 weeks at a time. G'Day Malc, just looking at this thread and what should be sitting in front of me in a frame? Probably the only original poster left in good condition/ Red print on white poster paper. Just love the little caption " doin' it with soul ". Anyway great allnighters and glad i'm still on the scene although 12000 miles away. Saw a great movie last night called you, me and duprie, with Matt Dillon and Michael Douglas. There was a brilliant track in the background, only played about 20 seconds but the title was Gotta be some changes made, by the Staple Singers. Nothing listed on J.M. site but anyone know if it was ever released on single or L.P. ? Just another great sounding northern track featured in a movie. Sue. OZ. K.T.F.
