  1. I picked up a copy for 12 quid last year, so to me thats cheap and its a cracking tune.
  2. I won the boo who fingee song in a dance comp in 79, that is deffanatly not his best. but this one is a corker
  3. I was only playing Mighty Joe Young / Suffering Soul , last night. A top record and cheep aswell.
  4. If you get no luck on hear, try this site www.modculture.co.uk/ lots of peps have got it and they may be willing to sell it.
  5. Played at home its an ordenary record, played through a good system, nice and loud its one hell of a dancer and has certainly got the crowd buzzing for us at the railway and wanting more of the same [ that what we like. stompers ]
  6. I'll second that. [ even more of a bargain ]
  7. I believe one sold at Middleton on Sat for 50 quid from Des Parkers sales box.
  8. A big play for Simon Preston at the Bournemouth Railway Club over the last couple of years, copies have now dried up a bit, think it was about 30 quid , but with a few peps now starting to play this once forgotten oldie, prices have risen, been looking myself for a good while,
  9. I didnt mean you Pete, i meant people with 'soul cred'
  10. What I'm trying to say is that some people with 'soul cred' on here get away with saying things that a lesser person would get slaughterd for, meaning people biting their tongues [easy targets, eh...?]
  11. Some peps can say what they want on hear, others get slaughtered, If your face fits etc
  12. Come down south Beeks, theres less bickering and you wont feel out of place as most peps look younger than there age due to the sea air and lack of rain
  13. I will make a point of setting up my usb turntable and try to put both sides on, vocal / inst.
  14. I think you got side tracked by all the females on here
  15. Can anyone put this on Refsoul for me , not to good on that sort of thing, thanks

  17. I would be in tears Russ if i'd spent that sort of money out on it
  18. I was the one wanting it on Modculture ,having missed out on a bargain a few years back, maybe im dreaming the money i want to pay for it. A great record.
  19. Forgot to say I'll be listing this high quality soul record for sale later, I'll be clearing my message box to make way for the deluge of pm's , to be fair to everyone i might even take sealed bids.
  20. Your so right Ted [ crap pop record ] but i remember it filling the floor at the Casino, dosnt say much for are beloved scene at that time does it.
  21. Ive got two copies on clamike , didn't know it came out on another, the b side on mine is John Friday's Son which is very good, i also have played it out in a main set a few years ago and it went down extremely well.
  22. Noble Watts / Teene - Scene on Clamike more of a mod sound than northern, what a great inst, quality sax, should get played out more often, unfortunately cant do a sound file.
  23. Speed dear boy, not quality
  24. They could pitch it up even more, but it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference. HER VOICE IS CRAP.
