Crazy Bidding
Could it be there is a reserve price which was not met by each of e***t's bids up to the point where the other bidder joins in? I'm no ebay expert but if a reserve hasn't been met aren't you notified you have been outbid - whereby the next 'higher bid' is only the next standard incriment higher and so on until the reserve is met?

No idea if this has had it's day but loved it since a new release. Actually prefer the extended version. Nancy Wilson "Now" 1976

Smallest...dance Floor
Only ever got to The Cats once Tez - but what an atmosphere! And remember that dance floor at the far end well.

Smallest...dance Floor
Hey Winnie! Prince's Soul Cafe in Bedford had just changed it's name to The Blue Lagoon when we started those nights there. Mark Turner was the promoter and we had some good guest jocks and nights there despite the tiny dance-floor and it being on Sunday nights. Can't believe it's about 12 years ago since we did them!!

James Hamilton Record Collector ?
I met James when I won a competition put on by Groove Records in Soho c.1980. He presented my prize to me and had my photo with him in Record Mirror! Only a brief meet but he was a real nice guy. For those interested, the comp was to name as many records as possible with the word 'Groove' in! I won a trophy and any 10 LP's and 12"s of my choice from the shop. That's how I got a copy of the James Mason LP on Chiaruscuro for free!

Delilah Moore/hit 'em Hard S/track
Thanks for the info guys. I read the movie was never made too - is that a case of Blaxploitation 'sploitation'?? I'll have no problem playing Delilah off the album BTW.

Major Harris R.i.p.
Second that Kev. Sad news indeed. "I Believe In Love" also a personal favourite along with all those already mentioned.

Delilah Moore/hit 'em Hard S/track
Been looking to buy this LP at a fair price. Seen a few for sale but wonder if this ever got bootlegged? I know a lot of Rare Groove/Blaxploitation LP in-demanders got replicated in the 90's. Would appreciate info and genuine ball-park price for an original copy? Cheers, Tony Horn

Lp Only Djs And Their Playlists
I think that day was the one and only time I've done an actual cartwheel in my living room. Roger Note you deliberately avoided doing a backdrop then Rodge?? (P.S. - Tony Horn here BTW)

Your Favourite Lyrics?
Not gut-wrenching.....but very clever IMO Diane Jenkins - Towaway Zone I parked my heart in a towaway zone It was filled with my love for you, but now it's gone The space you offered me, was so inviting I parked my heart without realising ...and later I'll always keep the receipt To remind me of your deceit Loved it back then and still love it now!

Soul Majestics - Missing You / I Done Told You Baby
I knew there was another on CMB in the pack at the time but couldn't remember ( didn't wanna embaress myself!!)....think that was the one. Also had Judson's "Everybody Push & Pull" on Capri along with Cam Cameron "They Say" on same label.
