Most of them are probably overseas buyers, where the records might be more in demand. Can't imagine anyone in the UK paying those prices, apart from Servicemen, which was a bargain for someone. Nolan Chance and Mikki Farrow weren't too far over the top. Freddie Chavez demo, seem to have been quite a few of those about in the last year or so.

If you look on the feedback, there are quite a lot on there for that time. But, none of the ones currently listed. So, the transactions for those particular records might have been cancelled. But, they are on popsike, so that must be an automated thing that transfers the details to popsike as soon as the record is sold. I've often wondered how that worked, given that only certain records end up on popsike. Is it something you have to agree to when selling. Don't know.

I have a Yum Yums - gonna be a big thing - ABC DEMO (£185) OR NEAREST OFFER This is the rare 1977 look alike pressing that has fooled so many over the years. 12mm runout with ABC12661 at 11 o'clock. The sixes are not as curled as I have just typed but look more like 6's than lower case b's. The 2 is curly. Vinyl is in ex condition, with just a few light scuffs seen under bright light and it plays brilliant. No pops, skips, jumps, noise etc. Labels are nice and clean. The original will be around 350 for a decent copy. There is also an orange Atco distributed second issue, pressed in 1972, with the Detroit address on the label. Sound quality is great and it's on vinyl as opposed to styrene. I sold a near minter last year for £70. So it's round about that price.

You are right. There are too many do's. But thats because over the past 10 or 15 years there have been too many people coming back on to the scene and suddenly deciding to become dj's and start their own do's. This is not a criticism. It was bound to happen as more and more people returned to the scene.
