  2. Well, I was interested in the Flirtations till I played the sound clip and it sounded like it had styrene wear all the way through, so didn't bother bidding. The Ivorys was only VG+, so that equates to a minter being about £1800ish.

  4. I think the few that turned are the second press. No music city stamp and glossy label.
  5. Only a few turned up though and they were not stamped originals, so I'm led to believe by all the info
  6. Thought cautions was also very high. But a real bargain on the Joe Matthews for a top double sider.
  7. The Linda Jones was also, only VG+. So the seller has done quite well. I thought about 250 value, but I'm probably way out of date with prices.
  8. Just seen it. Also Linda Jones - just can't live my life on the Warner Bros white demo for £500.

  10. It went for £600 quite a few years ago Phil, but seems to have dipped slightly. When you look on popsike over the last 2 years all the decent copies range from 400 to 500 tops. So, thought I was offering top end.
  11. If anyone has a stamped original Mikki Farrow they might part with, I will pay up to £500 depending on condition.
  12. Not really. The higher the money, the better chance of someone considering selling.
  13. Depends how you price vg+ against m-. To me, vg+ is only 60% of an m-.
  14. pm'd you
  15. Theres also a boot of Rufus Lumley on Holton, being advertised as original with scratched matrix numbers.
  16. Wouldn't mind a Deadbeats, but would only pay 400ish.
  17. You couldn't sell it for a fiver 10 years ago. Had it in my box for years and ended up selling it for £3.
  18. I've seen quite a lot of records where the label has a small straight edge on the outer edge of the label. Especially the 'B' side. Didn't think this reduced the value anyway.
  19. I have the following for sale- Belaires - I got that feeling/the rabbit (Palmer D) Ex 150 P & P special delivery £4 Payment by paypal as gift, bank transfer, cheque or cash. Please pm if interested Thanks Carl P &
  20. What would be a realistic price for the Belaires in ex condition, with 'The Rabbit' on the other side.
  21. I wanted to have a bid on 'soul step' up to a max of £400, which I thought was stretching it. Couldn't believe it yesterday afternoon when I looked and it was already over £650.
  22. If anyone has an m- demo at 250 they would sell, I'm looking for one.
  23. I paid a fiver for it at the Wigan nighter in late 1977. Put a big hole in my wage packet, £19 then.
  24. I always get plenty up to it and dance to it myself when its played, so long as my knees allow it. But, I would say its not your 'regulation' northern soul dancer. Anyone who has had the northern soul dance lessons that are about these days and have been taught set movements at a set speed might struggle dancing to it.
  25. Well, I would say it's quite scarce really. Only 8 copies on popsike in 10 years and you just don't see it out and about. You're right that its not the most soulful record, but its a very explosive and catchy tune. A bit different.
