Just got off the roof after fixing a small leak. Before that the car got a flat tyre. Well they say it comes in threes. Well it does. Colin and Ady are on Shades of Soul . Just joking ........ two super lads! With record collections to match. Well known for their Sunday afternoon spot at Cleethorpes and running various Soul nights in Hinkley, and dj'ing at various venues. Yes, musically should be a good night again. (But they do look as if they need a good dinner inside them) Lol, lol .......... Charlie Mc

Was out with Nick Saturday night. Me, him and Steve doing a charity St. George's Day Bash. A bit down obviously, and not quite his old self, to be expected. Shows you the measure of the man, he didn't want to let anyone down on the night. Will be there tomorrow night, with the normal crowd as normal. Giving our support, and looking forward to catching up with Del from Oxford Soul Club. I am sure he has dug the crates and pulled out some great tunes. Charlie Mc

Yes, made the trip down to London to the Victoria and Albert Museum to meet Mary Wilson. I thought the interview went very well and really enjoyed it. I understand people saying an hour is not enough, that two hours would not have been enough either. It was just great sitting there and listening to her opinions on the music and the people she worked with within the scene. She did look very good for her age as does most of the Motown stars. Great sense of humour she had very witty comments. Still made a good night out in London, a few beers before and after and made an extremely memorable evening! But the song at the end, pure class. She can still sing a tune. Charlie Mc
