  1. no your everyones :-))))
  2. you calling me a posse bitch!!!!
  3. Notice in my defence that I have my back firmly against his as i guessed correctly that this was my safest bet to avoid any further advances Winnie - you bas***d!!!! Great reply you Captain Hook lookalike Will I be seeing you at Bisley or the Plinston so we may cuddle in a manly way?
  4. no, but obviously the oldest one grandad!
  5. Winnie, I am finding you strangely attractive the more i look at you .... and that hat really brightens up your boat :-) Mischief..can you leave the Welsh boyfriend and only Gay in the valleys out of this please as Sean Chapman doesn't want to be outed...oh, damm! Now, as a promoter of the Plinston Northern nights, can I ask for a whip round from all those who think it's acceptable that promoters make no money from any event they put on as I make, on average, f**k all and they obviously will applaud this and would seek to ensure that this state of affairs can continue as a shining example to future generations and potential promoters.....or have I got this wrong??? :-)))) On the subject Vinnie of acceptable..is it acceptable to scream and shout at my computer screen whilst reading moronic posts about shite that doesn't really matter in the great scheme of things posted by those with obviously sod all else to do all day or should I give in to my Levine-style ranting tendancies and just bleet on about anything that gets people going?? Please help as I'm confused (a bit like Mischief and his feelings for the Welsh Gay!!!!)
  6. Vinnie - talc and roll on are 2 different things - one is something people put on the floor to p*** me and Winnie off and the other is a phrase heard often whilst Miscief the Chav lover is DJing - as in 'roll on the next DJ and decent music' - hope this helps you
  7. Ok, expect several new trading cards of the main Chav man at the next event
  8. winnie we are as one on this bro - although i think you've over done the extreme make-over mate :-O
  9. Vinnie, the rule on talc is simple - spread a shit load on the dancefloor then f**k off and let everyone else deal with the grief it causes!!! Are you sure you've been to a northern event?
  10. some fat balding Chav loving git with a worse taste in shirts than me? Has he just seen what he's got in his playbox - hence the expression and lack of dancefloor action????
  11. Naff off you Chav loving balding git! It will be packed on the 19th March as your on in the Main Hall
  12. Agree with both Taffy and KarenB comments. Most people do moan about the politics because they are so BORED and NAFFED OFF with hearing the same old arguments regurgated over and over and over again. KarenB hit the nail firmly on the head - we are into for the music, the people and the good times. Anything else doesn't matter.
  13. No there anit at the Plinston former dictator!!!!
  14. Surely it's not theirs but bobbi Browns??
  15. Oi! Who said you were allowed to have fun anymore!!
  16. hmmmm, tricky one! I think you've left quite a lot out there Vinnie and obviously should have posted this question BEFORE going to any venue (doh!) Obviously you are a newbie that hasn't studied the 1001 political questions regarding Northern Soul and the scene in general. I suggest that you refrain from going to any further events until you have establshed firmly which side of the fence you are on and can argue in a boring and offensive manner, be set in your ways and not be swayed by the fantastic music on offer at all. Hope this helps :-)))
  17. I thought it was a Canadian or French EP job only? Or have I got it wrong AGAIN!!!
  18. My mistake re: heavy metal and tattoos etc. Here's a pic of the Lp cover and if I can find a better close up I'll show you that he's none of the above .... more like a Klingon extra from Star Trek!!!! That said I still think it's a great version and hats off to the man. I entioned the Kylie Cd track years ago on this very site by the way
  19. Hang on sweetie - aren't these the very words you use to describe him indoors?
  20. Agree 100% with you Mr G. At least John and Co look to put something back into the hands of those that gave us the enjoyment in the first place. £10 is quite reasonable in this day and age for a 45 of this calibre - the days of getting into an allnighter for £2 are also over Each to their own as they say but for me I have always belivied that getting the music out there and appreciated and encouraging young blood onto the scene are the 2 most important issues we need to address in this day and age. If we don't then we become an aging scene and fade away. Just my opinion, so don't have too much of a rant at me (I'm only young - look at my cute piccy!)
  21. re: playing a Grapevine issue over an original a DJ has on the same line-up - I do take the point Brett and no, I'd never play the Grapevine issue if I knew a DJ on the line-up has the original and would play it. That said, if no-one has it and I want to spin it then it would get played...obviously alongside my Casino Classics LP's and all my Wigan Ovations biggies :-))))
  22. I have no problem whatsoever with any DJ playing a Grapevine 45, they are legal and no different to any other legit UK issue. Please let's not go down this road and cause even more grief for ourselves  The latest Prince Phillip Mitchell CD is blinding by the way!
  23. In total agreement with the comments above. Kent, IMHO, and Ady in particular have put out some of the finest examples of Soul music, not just northern dancers, of any UK label and is on a par with the Grapevine2000 releases. As stated previously, it's always been done with an ear for the music and not just for what happens to be in - as they used to say about Stafford, the soul preceedes the payroll at Kent. Keep up the good work Ady and don't forget to spell my name right on the Barry CD!!!!!
  24. The list is endless and anything on Kent or Goldmine is a must. Also, any of the Togethernbess CDs. However, for me at least, the best compliation of the past few years has to be Uncle Terry Jones 'Village Soul' - superb across the board from ll eras SOUL!
