Have both a and b sides, I like it!!! Then again I'm old enough to have been round the block a few times and to be quite frank, and 3 kids later, I think the Dora The Explorer theme is good too!!!! Have a chance for one at $1000 approx. thats why I was asking.

Not been comped or booted as far as I know as, like JT, been after this for donkey years after hearing it on a tape from Rob Pheasent (if memory serves right and what great taste the man had!!!) Pricewise I missed out on one at Blackburn some 5 years ago for £400 on a Mint - copy but at todays stupid crazy prices expect to fork out big money!!!! By the way, the tape also included the fabulous Deb-Tones 'Groovy Generation' which NEVER sees the light of day at venues these days either and is just as good!!!!! *Update: obviously more than the one copy therefore

Can confirm that the 45 is the studio cut and NOT the live version you seek, which is only available on the Lp as mentioned somewhere above. Great track by the way, not spub since the glory days at 'The Cellar Club' in Letchworth in the late 80's!!!

Pretty certain it is an acetate only, have the full version on a tape somewhere from years ago along with a load of new discoveries, as was then. Will dig it out and see if I made any more notes on the cover (as i am prone to do when I get more info on things)

No, defo the £500 mark. Saw one go last year for that and, as said, its no longer the £750 toon it once was. Mind you still a great 45 and always been on my Wants.

Winnie, if there is a film being made you and I dont qualify as dancers for the film as we are far too old and, more importantly, can you imagine how over budget it will be if your in it and they have to stop every time you do a shirt change!!!!!! LOL

Why am i not surprised!!!!! I think I have this on their LP but cant get access to bulk of collection at the moment as too much shite piled infront of it whilst house being remodelled!!! Great toon.

I bow to Steve G's obvious superior knowledge on this subject. The ebay ones went for, i think, $1200, there was also another on ebay from the same label that went for the same money at the same time, cant remember who though!

There has been a couple on eBay in the past 12 months, went for a lot LOT less. Is it me or are people buying Modern because they think its the next big money area????? Oh , and I failed to get the eBay ones!!!!!

Haven't seen it for sale for donks! Last time did was some 15 years ago and then it was £20, mind you it was around the same time as most of us around here brought Timeless legend,Storm etc from Soul Bowl for £6 a piece so don't go by that price!!!!!!! UPDATE: Craig Morer had it for $90 August last year according to my badly filed notes!!!

Can I just point out that Bobby Vee went to school with my dad and is a good friend of his - useless I know but wanted to mention it - oh and his version of Virgina B's Northern anthem is rather good!
