I sent a cheque up to Scotland Monday for a record which still has not arrived the seller sent the record same day as he knew there would be problems with the post and it's not landed yet, bit of snow in this country and everything comes to a standstill, not worried too much as things should get back to normal now as the snow has melted, must praise our post lady as she was still on her delivery well into late afternoon all this week but it's right that the bills seem to get through before important stuff like records lol

Mail in Scotland has been stuck there since the snow started and mail going to Scotland is stuck at the railhead terminal at Doncaster but now we have a bit of a thaw it should start moving

Can't see the problem if the seller is advertising it as such,so long as any buyer knows what he or she is buying,I don't have any myself but someone who wants a track and can't afford the original would probably be pleased to have it.Oh and don't quote me the "your taking royalties away from the artist" because once that original record has been initially bought the money from any future sales goes straight in to the sellers sky rocket.

I have an acetate(i think) of kevin king lear - the snake,on the label it says Pye Recording Studios and has Route Records RT07 written on it.It is single sided and is the same as al wilsons but with a bit more hammond organ and sounds a bit more moddy.Has anyone any idea of value?Any help would be appreciated.

In my experience they don't deliver other items either...

I hate to break the news to you all but posties don't just deliver records.It is the busy time of year for international post (you know christmas it comes once a year)and the number of parcels being sent to and from abroad is quadrupled at this time of year,not to mention the fact that there has been an ongoing vr (voluntary redundancy)exercise nationwide with the workload being spread amongst less staff than normal.Oh yeah i'm a postie too.Rant over.

I'm not 100% sure but i think this book was done in conjunction with the boston standard so it might be worth contacting them

I am currently listening to a cd that i found in my car and there is one track on it that i love but the cd has no details.It sound like a bit of a mash up and is probably soulful garage or house.The main words are "'cos i'm still in love with you " and the background music is a sample of spandau ballet's true.The artist is female so any info would be much appreciated cheers.
