  6. I'm sorry that you felt that way but it isn't really a Northern Soul night as such and I have no control over what the lads play in their room. It was essentially their night, Boston Soul Collective, and they play mostly rare and underplayed 60s soul with a bit of Northern Soul thrown in. We had to rearrange our Soul Spirit night and the lads had the only date available so they kindly allowed us to share the venue with them and relocated themselves into the smaller room to allow us to have the bigger room. There is a Northern Soul night in the town at a different venue which is run by the Boston Soul Club which would probably appeal to you more and gets really well attended.

  19. SOLD Constellations I don't know about you. VG+ Light crackle at the start and a light scratch that's barely audible. Bell stamped original plays loud and clear. £1600 all in.
  20. You can post what you like, just be accurate. You've portrayed the Gliderdrome as being a handbaggers venue by posting a video of an 80s night, do you work for the BBC by any chance?
  21. Not sure why you've posted this video as it isn't remotely associated with Northern Soul, they have different nights at the Gliderdrome and judging by the amount of women and the tune I would say this is an 80s night.
  22. A few quality records for sale, bank transfer preferred. but can do PayPal friends or family , £3.75 1st class signed for or £8.00 Special delivery insured. All offers considered.
  23. I know the Mainline lp is the first release but I'm talking about the Expansion Special Reserve 2001 release, if this is the first legitimate 7"release could it be deemed original format? We all know what a pain it is to lug huge boxes of 12s and lps around so would make more sense to take the 7". There are other lp only tracks that have been released on a 7" that get played out regularly and not frowned upon ,for example Wilson Williams on Crates of Soul etc so I don't see this one as any different unless I'm totally off track.
