    Soul Music played with a SMILE. Ray Casey, Kevin Haywood, Roger Dean & Spook the 100% charity “Soul Saves Lives” team are back at Market Drayton British Legion. For It's 1st event of 2023 - Saturday the 11th February. playing Northern Soul classics, current floor fillers and a sprinkling of Motown As usual "old skool" on vinyl from their collection. Fantastic venue and sound system with a great dance floor, seating areas with reasonable bar prices. Come and enjoy a great atmosphere with friendly people all for charity, this event all proceeds will go to Hope House Childrens Hospices. Thank you and Market Drayton Royal British Legion Club once again for your continued support.     Friday Travel information to anybody travelling south from Whitchurch/Chester direction on the A41 to Bellmans Yard Soul Club. A one way will be in operation for a month in Newport on the Canel Bridge, southbound should be ok but north bound WILL BE DIVERTED . Therefore travelling there should be ok, going home there will be a diversion. Just in case they divert southbound traffic I would advise not turning into Newport by Chetwyn Church, follow the bypass and turn right at the 2nd roundabout. Going home, turn right at the mini roundabout in the town centre and when you get to the bypass turn left onto the A41.

    Hi, If you are visiting for the 1st time it can be a little difficult to find even thought it is just off Newport High St, the narrow access road is by a post box , where the white van is and next to Nock Deighton Estate Agents. The club car park was full last month and a few parked on the High Street (which is not a problem) but there is also Stafford Street Car park which is sort of behind the club with a walkway back to the High street. Stafford Street Carpark is split into two areas - short stay by walkway and further down it is long stay. According to Parkopedia the long stay is Free but please, please read all the parking signs for fees and time limits. Please do not park on : Waitrose Pheasant Pub Shakespeare Pub - (Badderly Court) As these have 2 to 3 hours controlled parking.
