Warren Storm and Lynn August Sale A few of the Ponderosa Stomp attendees stopped by our facility before and after the event. We are not close to New Orleans... some of those folks drove a long way to visit our vinyl warehouse. These were the top sellers... $30 ea these are unplayed store stock (NOS) vinyl records from the record company i work for... Buy one of each... $140 for the seven record lot! paypal plus postage

I grew up and still reside in Louisiana. Artists such as Ray Charles, Barbara Lynn, Irma Thomas, Percy Sledge and many other legendary artists such as Buckwheat Zydeco, Fernest & The Thunders, Kat & the Kittens, Lil Bob & the Lolipops and dozens others have performed live somewhere in our region over the decades. Many still do. They always made the house dance. The entire house... and the folks out on the street as well, often times. I can't ever recall a show where the band didn't make the entire crowd shake that (_!_) I feel very fortunate. I've witnessed legends.

mark miller (JD's son), some lead singer fellow, and warren storm JD is the guy in the photo, on the wall... Warren Storm will be performing at the Ponderosa Stomp, this season... i quite enjoy my job. i focus on the miller's vinyl archive, for them.

a lead singer from a popular band stopped in our store, back in january. the miller family produced slim harpo, lightnin slim, lazy lester, lonesome sundown, katie webster, lionel prevost, warren storm, sonny landreth... and many other artists. i guess robert wanted to soak up some of the history... and check out the zydeco squeezeboxes in stock. :^) a lot of folks attending the ponderosa stomp have been stopping by... in recent days.
