  1. I've worked in the music business for decades, as a sound tech, a record store owner, and worked for record companies over the years in the USA. Many small labels only would press 500 - 600 records for some releases. Fairly darn rare, on a planet with a world population of 7.4 billion folks. 7.4 billion people divided by 500 or so, doesn't go very far. I noticed some people don't consider that "rare". I find them to be mistaken and have no clue about what rarity truly is. This seems to occur with "collectors" more than I would expect.

  4. i've always used First Class mail service. never had a problem. i don't use "global middle men" for anything but frankly sell many more 45s at other web sites than here. i had seven i never never knew records... most sold elsewhere, not here. they leave feedback every time at other web sites. like clock work. this web site doesn't generate many sales for some of us. ya'll are missing out on some good shit. cest la vie. they sell elsewhere, and they've all left stellar feedback because we sell STORE STOCK never played records. most folks ship used stuff. we still ship pristine wholesale stock and have used First Class mail without fail for many years.

  7. I've seen Irma Thomas, Barbara Lynn, Percy Sledge and Ray Charles perform live in honky tonk small country bar venues, decades ago. Also Allen Toussaint while in New Orleans back in the 70s. He was awesome. Same with James Booker and many others... They were all very good. I tended to like funk more, so I really liked seeing the original funky Meters.

  19. many small labels such as the 45 i'm showing, only 500 were pressed for each release... many small record companies only made 500 - 600 when they'd press a release, years ago. there are what, 7 billion people on the planet? 500 - 600 doesn't go very far. many records are fairly obscure.
