I believe it's the second pressing in in the same year 1969. Same catalogue number. Matrix numbers are different by #100 - although I've got not idea what that equates to in terms of time between pressings - weeks? A month or two? First release: TM 4661 Second release: STM 4771

Marilyn Mattson - He Means So Much To Me - Allied Mod / Garage Dancer It reminds me a bit of April Silva - Under My Thumb on Commonwealth - but darker and denser. Have a listen - see if it's your bag. I’ve got a handful of these ranging from Mint- to VG+ but even the VG+ is clean. I've been selling them on discogs for £60 - £75 but need some money to fund a purchase so happy to let them go for a bit less. £55 for a M- (Got 2 of these) £45 for a M- with label stain £40 for a VG+ couple of scuffs PM if you fancy one. Raw, gritty version of the Marjorie Black classic - quite a tricky 45 to get hold of. VG+ Plays great. In good shape - no pops or clicks and only very light marks NAP. Very small edge chip on the flip that doesn't go right through the vinyl. Clip for reference £180 plus post PMs please.

Judging by the Karen Catalogue Numbers I think Betty Lavette was in the studio very soon after with the same band. Delphs - Karen 45 1538 Lavette - Karen 45-1540 Maybe they were trying both artists to see who would get the nod for a release - then decided both were great? Cheers Gaz
