  1. One on eBay here. May be a bit pricey though. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Northern-Soul-Tamla-Motown-rare-Chicago-Dancer-MARVELOWS-Your-Little-Sister-/351697429269?hash=item51e2cce315:g:cyAAAOSwcOFWajLw
  2. "Dance my tears away" on Capcity is definitely a man surely.
  3. Couldn't believe it. Thought it was 500 quid at most.
  4. I agree. We've become conditioned to spending vast amounts on records and think nothing about it. Even a 100 quid record is pretty much considered a cheapie, how mad is that? But that crack is bonkers
  5. Deon Jackson - someday the sun will shine. shame that's not out there to chase
  6. Brilliant record. YouTube clips never do the music justice and don't compare to spinning the actual disc. I love it anyway
  7. Was he ever tracked down? Who was he?
  8. Had 2 as well Russ. Now have none unfortunately. Phil, try Mr Fortnum, he was selling one on Facebook a day or two ago. 80 quid I think. or might have been 60, I really can't remember.
  9. There are still some to be had now and again! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Old-45-RPM-Record-Verve-VK-10416-Youngblood-Smith-You-Can-Split-Mr-Brig-/331767737720?hash=item4d3ee5ed78:g:m~8AAOSwnLdWrzOu
  10. Being slightly younger than some of you here (45) my years going to the Fleet must have been late 80's. One time sticks in my mind. Drove up on my own, went in. Had a chat with Sue on the door. Then scratched around for a bit of gear. No joy! Feeling knackered I popped out to the car to have a quick rest. Woke up 7 hours later just to see em loading the last bit of equipment in the van. Good night that!
  11. I recon Billy. I was just a kid in those days and I'm glad to say he never invited me back to the rectory to see his rarities
  12. Oh yeah, of course it was. I remember Tony Clayton at that venue. Confused in me old age
  13. Loughborough town hall 87ish. Think they were E.A.S.C
  14. One in sales earlier today. /forums/topic/341651-danny-wagner-incredibles-debbie-dean-etc/ Soz, just noticed you seen it.
  15. I agree. I don't bother going anymore. It's crap. sorry, that wasn't very positive was it Mike? :)
  16. Robert and the Uptights, I think. It's the missus who watches Corrie, honestly
  17. oh right, I just assumed with the Detroit pedigree that's where it was from. I'd be grateful sounds pure Detroit to me and I've obviously came to the conclusion based on that. You live and learn. Cheers Robb.
  18. Boo is a Detroit label. Sorry, don't know which studio used.
  19. Why the need for the YouTube clips? Just asking like
  20. What is it? Can't see anything
  21. Don't piss about buying five pound records. Set yourself a limit of say £500 and refuse to buy a record for less! Before you know it you could be a top DJ only joking young'un. And happy hunting.
  22. And also a reissue some 2/3 years after the Majestics original if I remember correctly.
  23. Funny! Compared to now it was still positively underground in '08
  24. there you go, no expense spared on the label design.
  25. Yes, it's credited as "The Moving Parts". Dunno if that was the C/U title. Also has Danny Harrison girl, girl, girl as Jesse Davis. Mini EP thing. Quite obscure
