  9. could someone please give me an approx value for the carpets "keep pushing on"/"you don't have to buy me" on show me? also, how does this compare in rarity to their release on VIJ? do people prefer one 45 to the other? (i've never heard the one on VIJ.) i ask mostly because i'm from kansas city, so i have a bit of a vested interest in the local 45s. thanks!

  17. there's one on ebay right now if you're still looking for it.
  18. there are a number of errors in the article, all of which should be attributed to the writer. the dee edwards price being too high, the jj barnes too low, referring to records as "vinyls," etc. problem is, though, dee edwards "why can't there be love" is actually pretty common in the area, so now ppl will probably start bringing it in all the time, demanding to get real paid! oh, and if you're looking for mint records, then you really should just stop coming to detroit to look for records altogether
  19. my dj partner and i have recently been spinning the following to good reception: walter (butterball) davis - girl stop begging (la cade) little beaver - listen to my heartbeat (cat) al hudson & the soul partners - i'm about lovin' you (atco) moses - i got my mind together (piedmont)
  20. paul kelly & the rocketeers - can't help it [dial] jimmy "bo" horne - if you want my love [alston]
  21. so, w/ respect to the "boo hoo" side, have y'all heard this or spun it at a northern night? i've had it in my box for a while, but have yet to break it out for the public, i guess. that said, both sides are indeed top-notch!
