Yep, you're right Dave....first release is on a yellow Highland....not too easy to find nowadays.

I like it.....it's not a million miles away from Jesse James' take, but so what. The other tracks on the album are quality soul....You just have to check the the music that's influenced the guy......Holland, Dozier, Holland, Smokey Robinson, Curtis Mayfield, Martha and the Vandellas, The Notations, The Dramatics, Spinners, Marvelettes, Supremes, Temptations, Four Tops, Mary Wells, The Precisions, Mike Terry, Barry White, Isaac Hayes, The Montclairs, James Jamerson and the Funk Bros, The Moments, Temprees, Whatnauts, Tom Brock, Eddie Holman................he's one of us (if that's not such a bad thing). He's putting out real soul music to a market that isn't really interested, and if that can't get support on this site, then he really is wasting his time.

Always loved this tune too.....though played it out recently and it almost cleared the floor...oops

I can't see the point of this post....sales are listed on here at prices you'd find in sales boxes at any venue.....prices all over the place from cracking bargains to laughably high. As with any sale offer, you're not forced to buy.....don't like the price then make a sensible offer.....easy. If the price offered is too high then it won't sell.....simple.

Don't know Jackie Moore's version................have you got details, or a a soundclip ?

The seller is either a bit of a goose, since I think Dorothy Moore made the top ten in UK charts, or he knows something the rest of world doesn't

It's LP only.......................unless there's some obscure European release of it.....certainly not a US 45

Huge apologies for being so tardy in sending my CD out.....finally managed to get them all cut, after searching endless IT help boards, downloading so called system error fixes, and new drivers, before eventually giving up and buying a new CDRW drive . Anyhow all sent out now, so your postie should bring them to you over the next couple of days . Hope its worth the wait............ ....and thanks Joan, yes you did send me a CD
