I don't doubt that maybe what they said, and it wouldn't be the first time that artists have 'forgotten' tracks they've cut or even released. Don't think it was booted, since it was around in quantity as a new release, given limited plays at The Mecca, St. Ives, and dropped pretty quickly. Value-wise 5-10 quid. Great record though, his other release...Shy Guy is worth grabbing hold of too

Just completed a final round-up of swappers and details, and found that I'd mis-counted.... . So PhillyDaveG and djmelismo are also in, making a final total of 21. Only 3 more addresses to collect and I'll have the mailing list out to everyone tomorrow...

I've always loved this....but hadn't played it in years, until I dusted my copy off a few weeks back. I have to say it sounded even better than when I first heard it at the local youth club.....gorgeous soul, and a superb production from Joe Tate... They apparantly recorded earlier as The Passionettes on Path....

A great and really nice guy and without doubt a prolific artiste.... ..with more than one US hit... You shouldn't underestimate the difficulty to find this 45 just beacuse it's on Paula...I doubt 40 will cut it....

I included it in the last swap, but there's hardly any of that swap group included in the darkside swap, so just put it on anyway John........

Surprisingly, it's not an easy 45. I've seen far more copies of the 'rarer' version by Bobby Shannon on To-Mar. You might find it easier to get the LP, which if you don't know it, is outstanding....

Thanks to everyone who've joined up on the swap, the response has been outstanding, and all the signs are right for some very tasty CDs......... So you feel that you need to dress in a style that was exaggerated by the mid 70's, and faded out (thankfully) very soon after, and way before you got involved......that's just bizzarre...most other's that feel the 'need to dress this way are reliving their halcyon youth, where as you appear to see it as a another retro fashion opportunity...it just gets worse.....
