I'm sitting down at my favorite allnighter enjoying the tunes and a baggy trousers bloke starts moaning that they ain't playing northern soul i said that record and the one before both are casino tunes. I asked a promoter recently what they meant by rare and under played as i was interested in attending the venue the answer was records that don't get played a lot ! I was wondering if they could possibly provide a few examples but no they didn't. I'm certain that some promoters have not got a clue on what is overplayed.
