Was a great pleasure to be in the company of these 2 Great guys at the Sherwood Forest Soul Club .Me and Bev along with fellow Gas club Top Man Chris Brooke and his class act wife Jackie made the trip down To Bilsthorpe, and were greated with a warm and friendly welcome from Mark Mch and John Callaghan .Cannot speak highly enough about this venue its superb...Simply perfect for Northern soul..In a nutshell Venue...SPERB..Dancefloor ..PERFECT..Music policy..REAL DEAL ORIGINAL LABEL RECORDS EVERY SPOT A BLINDER WITH A GOOD MIX OF RARE AND NOT SO RARE FAVOURITES AND UNDERPLAYED GOODIES.All played to a packed house creating a great atmosphere Well done guys not many places like this left im chomping at the bit to DJ here next year. 5 STARS

Byron Northern Soul Club ..Great first night back last night..Started with a fantastic warm welcome from the lovely Alison Shelford on the door..The night went from strength to strength with a full room bouncing along nicely creating a top vibe all night...Some fantastic Soul people were there and Dancers and DJs kept me busy talking records upon records lol.The Guest DJs played some incredible records..But what makes this place work for me are the 3 residents. Nev Shooter. Simon Richard ,and Stu Teece Special guys with great records and knowlege,,very friendly and approachable..I could listen to their stuff all day and night Well done guys and Girls Your BACK. PATTO
