  1. Love that Four Shells Martyn my kind of sound.Gonna serve a girlie group sound straight back with a great record and even better you tube clip of them performing the song. This is the Dolls and l have it on a Loma Demo
  2. Fantastic Kev always loved Determination real mid nighter northern tune.I always play the Andrea Williams Ric Tic release with the same backing track
  3. JUST SIMPLY A FANTASTIC TUNE.
  4. Andy Thanks very much pal must admit never heard the flip played out anywhere.LOVE IT regards Patto
  5. HI Guys Played at Rugby nighter last week this fantastic tune which shares the twinkle little star backing track. Can anyone put a title and artist for me please clip below. Thanks in advance
  6. Next up from me is a Terrific slab of soul that was introduced to me by Martyn a couple of years ago on one of his CDs he kindly sent to me.First time i heard it i had to get one but it took me a good year to nail one at the right price.Lately it seems to be rightly going up in value and i would love to hear it introduced to a classic Northern crowd it could just impress as a dancer if slotted in at the right time.Have you spun it out much Martyn ?
  7. Great record Martyn on my Wants list for sure
  8. Hi Guys Think i may have posted this a while back but one of my all time fave Northern soul dancers that took me forever to find on my Important records Demo.
  9. Looks that way Kev
  10. Yep mine has same dead wax marks but mine is as scan on my previous post on vinyl with large rext and number on LHS of label. Was always lead to believe that the large text ones were the first issue.
  11. ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE here
  12. Kev Fantastic post mate H O B Hearts 100% Stafford sound and a Guy spin that sat nicely with this similar tune and one i treasure in my modest collection by Scotty Williams
  13. ALWAYS loved this one Gogger nice call mate not heard it played for couple of years
  14. Sorry Guys not really a fan of the latin vibe.Let me try and pull the sequins off you with this slab of old skool pounder that is ready for a reactivation im sure
  15. Martyn Agree with your comments mate.Think the issue is rare and i have seen it for sale at £200.which is far too much in my opinion. It has the Stafford flavour but im not sure it ever got spins there. The flip is a nice beat ballad. Patto
  16. What do you guys think of this one.I have an issue copy and there seems to be a lot who rate it but i have never been convinced .
  17. LIKE them both but the NO MATTER WHAT side is the one for me
  18. Back to my youth club days with this classic Northern instrumental.Just picked up a lovely thick vinyl crisp sounding Aussie original. Not many pennies for so many memories
  19. Agreed mate i got mine about 5 years ago and its deffo one i would not part with. Its also availlable as David Morris on the Radnor label, exactly same tune so its not too hard to find at least one of the two releases.
  20. Yep know what you mean i did say it was a marmite track but it does have a following in some circles and its quite a rare record too.Let me address the balance and put up for you one of thr most soulful tunes ever played on the Northern scene and one safely resting in my box
  21. Posting this one up from a damp bank holiday break in Whitby while taking a bit of shelter. This one i first heard on an early Goldmine Northern CD and its a marmite record. Some say it got plays at Cleggy and even the Casino but cant realy find owt much about it really.Perhaps you guys could enlighten me.
  22. OH YESSSSS Top call great tune mate
  23. The SOULTOWN and ZEA releases are a bit later but are originals in their own right. They are not canterbury reissues.I Have seen the canterbury boots sell for daft money and i have seen a few copies that the owners thought were orignals but were the counterfeits.Always been a minefield on this one
  24. Seen the SOULTOWN release as the NEW YOUNGHEARTS a couple of days ago on the raresoul45s site up for a £100
  25. Guys the 70s tunes are not usually my thing but those last couple were real nice tracks got to say. Gonna change the vibe though with this R&B pounder.Again one that proved hard to locate on my Josie Demo.
