  1. Must be a girly thing, cant imagine it applies to blokes unless they have moobs.... but then again it would be known as mitty shakers I guess Steve
  2. WD40 is not the way to go... it is oil based and will leave a residue. What you need is a plastic tolerant switch cleaner... meths, isopropyl alcohol or non reacting detergent based fluid.... BUT NOT WD40. Steve
  3. Mike, I can order you a couple of originals if you wish Steve
  4. C'mon, that's taking it to the extreme surely Steve
  5. OK Bob.... guilty as charged Steve
  6. How about Jimmy Mack My World... which was always fairly expensive 45 but in many collections and also Wade Flemmins Jeanette as John at the Bowl had countless boxes and originally put them in soul packs... but look at the price over the last 14 - 15 years! Steve
  7. Ady, I know someone with a "dinker machine". If they were to let it go you could offer two alternatives to buyers Steve
  8. Thats about right. I let one go a couple of months ago for a tenner. If youve got it dont sell it....great record as Benji says with the late Luther on it. Steve
  9. Bugger, guess youre first on the list
  10. I'm Steve... thanks for your generosity! Steve
  11. Got a mint copy as far as I remember. Need to drag it out. £30 post icluded is good for me Steve
  12. This threads just reminded me that I have a copy of this with picture cover but I can't remember if it is an issue or demo. Either way it's going to be up for grabs as I'm selling up bit by bit... and I don't think I've ever played it. Bearing in mind it came from John at the Bowl, that should give you a clue as to condition. Steve
  13. You mean you can still stretch other things at your age Ian Steve
  14. Had I known AA sold records I'd have joined them rather than the RAC Steve
  15. Brings a whole new meaning to turntable Steve

  19. Don't know if he's still got it but sold mine (M- condition issue) to a certain Mr Jeffries... and it really was flawless. You could always ask.One of the most atmospheric up-tempo blue eyed soul tunes to have graced the scene IMO Steve
  20. At least you may have a chance in the Paralympics, just for the short term. Stunning job by the team BTW. Back 'em all the way Steve

  24. Oh not another film topic.... where's Jocko?
  25. On this occasion I'll say yes although I have my concerns what you are doing with a grenade. Dave Moore chained up in the cellar I can cope with. The flame thrower, well anyone can make those... watch any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie and... oh shite, I'm on to movies again. As far as chat shows go I hear the replacement for Loose Women is called "Soulgirls"... talk about the latest bootlegs, fashions (and don't for f*cks sake get me started on that one again) and 60's versus 70's. I'll offer my hand out... fool!!! Steve
