Don't know if I posted these before but here's some EASC patches etc. Just need to find all the Wigan ones now!
-
I have the Barbara album. Will dig it out but from memory condition is mint minus. Will be in touch Best Steve
-
Yeah moved onto zoots etc myself but just had to go that extra mile( sorry, (5") and get 45" bottoms or as previously pointed out, two skirts. Aaagghhhhh Steve
-
Hi Richard I did just slip them on last night, or rather I tried. Although they've never been worn or washed the waist band seems to have shrunk Steve
-
-
Yeah. Found a load of photos with these things too. Junior walker at the palais. Eddie Holman at Hinckley and popcorn wylie at same venue I think. Will try and post them but don't have a scanner Steve
-
Well these would make two tents. 30" waist, 45" bottoms.... Strange how they fit in leg length but not in the waist anymore. Better sell them to someone a bit slimmer methinks Steve
-
Found a pair of unworn Spencer's with sewn in creases, three crown pockets, tunnel loops along with old Spencer's flyers, badges, and memberships. Brings back some memories eh?
-
I bought one years ago at a car boot even though it looked rough. Thought better of it (maybe wrongly) and binned it. Guess its in landfill somewhere. Oops Steve
-
Re-listed due to non completed transaction. I originally put this up for £500 but accepted an offer of £450 which did not come to fruition. Hence I've listed again The Hytones "Bigger and better" on Abet in M- condition with just a small mark on label. £450 inc UK postage Thanks for looking Steve
-
I can't believe what I'm reading... You openly admit to having a Volvo! Steve
-
Guess you have to be more careful buying an issue as the bootleg is a fairly good copy. Actually got both up for sale if there's any interest (boot and orig that is) Best Steve
-
Sorry, didn't mean to call you pets..... Kin I phones
-
Pets, all these Wigan podcasts are f*cking awesome. You are responsible for me getting half the garden cleared. Just a couple more and ill be done. Thank you sir Steve
-
Hi Sorry, no vinyl today but there will be some tomorrow. Up for grabs is a still sealed Motown: The Complete No Ones CD box set and its a promo copy. Other than a bit of dust its obviously mint as its still seald. It has all the number ones from this iconic label, complete with a replica Hitsville box outer and, allegedly although Ive not seen it, still being sealed, an informative booklet. £65 including UK postage (secure delivery) Cheers for looking. Steve

Hi Carl I used to have an acetate (proper company release) but with virtually no details on it. It was however a different take on chapter 5, slightly longer by about 12 seconds when I compared them side by side. It was uncredited though so I never got to know who it was by. Don't know who it went to but pat Brady springs to mind. This was back in the mid 90's mind. Best Steve

C'mon... There's nothing wrong with it. Love it myself. Better than some of the so called northern played at the casino Steve
-
So we are back to the question...what is northern I guess. I'm like you, love some of the UK white almost pop stuff that was played but I really feel there was some good stuff in that set. That's just me though :-)
-
I'd have to disagree. It was at a time where things were a changing as far as the music goes. There some great tunes in there, even the "modern" stuff. As far as I'm concerned there was much more dross played before hand Steve
-
Hi chalky I'm damn sure I have a photo of the orig acetate from the haul that Manship had that myself and Andy collected from him. Always remember being confused knowing its wiring title and then hearing it out as suspicion????? Put me right please Steve
-
Hi Peter It was never released by the originals. It came from the big acetate find some 25/30 years ago under the working title "baby have mercy on me". I was fortunate enough to see Freddie Gorman And the rest of the band including his daughter perform it at Richards 50th birthday at the ritz in Manchester. I also went to John Manships where he had the acetate haul. Myself and Andy Rix took the haul back to Boston where Ndy catalogued everything. All those acetates in the boot of a ford escort..... Hmmmmmm
