James was well know in the Huntingdon/ Oxmoor estate late 70ts - Kev Draper / Kipross / Johnny Fingers all knew James he use to find the odd gem in London searching junk shops back in the day - am sure him and his dad got caught up in cattle rustling - one thing for sure he never took speed

James use to live with his dad at Abbots Ripton nr Huntingdon - kind of a bit eccentric - saw him get through to the semi finals of the dancing competition at the Wirrina once which more like having a fit - yes in thouse days 77-78 you could take the piss without having a metal breakdown - people use to nick his record’s especially at Wigan so he use to put sting through the middles - that was fine until someone cut the string - lost a lot of records at Huntingdon railway station for unpaid storage fee

I went 75-81 Casino last 6 every weekend till it closed - don’t remember it being played however too many pills/powder could be to blame - just doesn’t sound like a Casino sound

Isley Brothers frontman Ronald Isley has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison for tax evasion. The 65-year-old R&B singer was also ordered to pay $3.1 million in back taxes to the Internal Revenue Service, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Conte.

Isley was convicted last year of five counts of tax evasion and one count of willful failure to file a tax return.

Just be aware not everyone thinks like soul / record collectors - it maybe there’s so much heat on the records they have been dumped, the list of records stolen has been made public so all the 4K plus records get rid - and bleed the 1k - 3k back through numerous sales sites.

Ted - priority first hope you’re OK - 

The rose and crown have cctv exterior of the building - and like most pubs today will hopefully have internal cameras. I don’t think they were there too obvious even for a pill head .

The bloke had a t shirt on which means he traveled there in a car / van - if you’re road is anything like mine every other property has external cameras - I am sure the old bill are on it

You could try reward £5k for info and return - that may lead to the person or people or records

who ever did it does not know the scene that well or who they stole off - as I would have gone for the big oldies box - worth far more and easier to get rid

Alison - you need someone who knows the past history of how people danced back in the mid and late 70ts when NS was at its height - the difference style dancing from stompers to shufflers - I would PM Mick Cooper he’s on here as Coops - great guy, knows what he’s talking about and very helpful am sure - plus he’s got 1,000 of images of people dancing Also if you look on you tube This England Wigan doc and the outtakes you’re get a really good idea ref dancing.
