A guy in America had heard about how good the dancing was at Wigan — came over and saw it him self — then made a film called Saturday Night Fever

Breakaway
DEMO
1978 brought it at the Casino for £20
After 4 years of getting my ear bent, I was hounded and pleaded with by a mate of mine from Aldershot, please please please can I buy it off you, eventually I gave in — OK I said on one condition “What says the guy” if ever you sell it you sell it back to me for the same amount I charged you, and give me first offer “Yes says the guy”
So I kind of sold it lent it for what I paid for it £20 ?? - years go past as they do, and I bump into another guy from the same area about 6 years ago — tenderly making enquires, about hows everyone doing, etc his name crops up, “O has he still got his record collection” “No” comes the reply he sold that years ago.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh friends who needs them

Brian Rae - after a nighter late 70't demo as well , "Brian play this yea OK" - never seen again drugs who needs them

People laugh at me sometimes, but my DJ box has a motorcycle chain on it, and it is chained to a non removeable object when ever I am out with.it.
Saw Kenny Burrell chain his box to the stage speaker (Peterborough) and then stand at the side of the hall looking at his box all night never left his sight - but saying that he must have gone for a pi$$, unless he had one of those tubes down the pants

There is only ONE

Just checked in the run out is
GEOFF STEVE , I use to know some guys from Aldershot in the 70t's called Steve, Mark and Gary Geoffreys but they always wrote on the label I have a few of them - I put KSW that’s my initials in there in 1976 when I brought the single - cant remember where I got the sound from it would have been either Casino or St Ives

Got 2 x tickets for the Millwall end (behind the goal) - these sold out some days ago I paid £72.25 (inc post and sign for) - will take £70 for the pair rather than have the hassle and punt them out in a pub - can arrange meet either at Wembley around 14.00 hrs ish or at Kings Cross around 12 noon or in a pub close buy
GONE
Cheers

Joe Douglas - 'Toss off and shout as loud as you can'.. Crazy Things!
Ruby Andrews - Just loving you, near the end of the song, Rube can definitely be heard to sing "such a tit head" - no question!

James Bounty
right at the beginning when it goes ding ding ding ding ding ding - you sing bombers and green and clears - it was just a song we use to sing on the way sad but again true
-
Sometimes, you hear some mad lyrics, and you just have to laugh.
Example of one I've just been listening to, BIG DADDY ROGERS, I'M A BIG MAN (MIDAS).
'I'm gonna take you to the woodshed, & drop a couple of planks on you'.
Great record, but what's all that about then?
Any more, anyone?
Just a bit of fun.

“LIKE RUSS WINSTANLEY”
It should be Mustang Sally - but when I was 17 off my head at the Casino and Russ was playing the record I thought fuck that must be good to have a record with your name in it — crazy but true

This is an old skool chopper bike and a chipper or tommahawk not to sure had them since the early 70t's both in fair condition even have the period lights, no welding on the back strut on the chopper this was due to giving people a double up - they snapped - buy the real deal.
Looking for £225 both you pick up - live the dream
