  1. Many great record stores in London here are a few - the downside now is that everything, all info is on the net so picking up Red and White demos for 10p are long gone or very rare - back in the 70ts most stores were selling for 10 to 20p with no record sleeves - have fun

Still prefer this to Homers version, just. But again, a Wheel, Catacombs and Torch tune to me. I never heard it played at Wigan between opening night and the end of 75, not even in M's, so am assuming once again that it was reactivated in the late seventies?

Joey - gonna say 76 or 77 think they re released it / pressed it along with Shane Martin / Lyn Randell / French fries on that EPIC red label - we all associate sounds with different venues - Camp Marching is St Ives Soul Sam - Tears Leroy St Ives - Rain out of my mind St Ives - although they were played at I guess all the major venues - great memories and great times

  3. A lot of Dj's now use the 35p bags from supermarkets, great for 45s and LP's  - here's a happy Carl Fortum at the Fleet DJ'ing out of what looks like a Sainsbury's bag  - the yellow and blue bags in the pictures below are Aldi - hope that helps

  4. André Brasseur, (born 1939) is a Belgian keyboard player and organist. Brasseur has released many albums and singles in his own country, but internationally is best known for his double A sided single The Kid/Holiday, which was released on the CBS label in the UK.

Though it never reached the UK charts, The Kid became popular in the famous Northern Soul venue The Twisted Wheel, based in Manchester, and DJ Noel Edmonds used Holiday as the theme tune to his Radio 1programme in the 1970s. In the same period at Radio Veronica, a Dutch pirate radio, DJ Lex Harding used The Kid as the opening sequence to his daily afternoon broadcast programme.
