  1. Have you sent you a PM but no idea of current value - so don't be offended by my offer. Ignorance is bliss!
  2. If someone would like my copy of the "rare miss-press" they can have it for a fiver posted in the UK as I'll be getting a replacement and wanted it more for the instrumental than the vocal. Paypal only. First to PM gets it (note I won't be logging on until later for replies). Cheers... Pete in Brighton.
  3. Looking for a copy of The Victors - 'Hurt' - on Phillips - to take me back to my college days in Sheffield in '79 when I bought a copy for a quid in a local shop. Somehow it got lost over the years... I'm sure it will be more than a pound now

  11. I imported a whole box of these in the 1980s maybe 100 or 200 copies - sold them for a couple of quid a piece and didn't even keep one for myself - still have the postage label from Watts!!! D'oh!
  12. Sent you a PM to open talks
  13. Hi there - have sent you a PM for two albums - thanks, Pete
  14. Around 1973/4 we'd wear our badges on the breast pocket of our black crombie coats - remember those - maybe just an East Anglian thing. I have some old badges on my record box... must do some photos.
  15. I went to a couple in my mid teens - seem to remember my folks giving me a lift over and they went to the Lynn festival and picked me up later... bless! King's Lynn always felt quite edgy when I was a kid, probably because I grew up in Wisbech, but there always seemed to be aggro in the air (usually outside). Much more relaxed were my Saturday morning trips over on the bus to visit Soul Bowl to buy a few tunes... if only I had kepy more of them.
  16. Thanks Wally - have sent you a PM. Happy to try to negotiate price, Pete

Would love to find Colin Roughley - the guy was a legend, a real shame we lost touch in our various moves.
  18. Managed to find the CD album on t'internet - which has some other nice tracks on (even if the backing tracks sound very dated). Keep on pushing love is still the stand-out for me. I am still looking for a 12" promo copy to play out tho'.. Anyone have a spare copy (to sell to me this time.. )

Ah ha! Parkers in Manchester - Dean someone ran it right? Yes - it's a photo you emailed me ages ago. I have dug out some pix to scan soon - I found a very poignant one of Sylvia, Sean and Amanda, probably at the 100 club. Plus some crackers of me back in the 70s.
