  1. extra small hole is a deletion mark? I understand that USA companies would punch the remaining stock when it was officially deleted from new sales and sold off cheap? You can often find USA Lp's with a hole punched in the corner of the sleeve, same thing.

  15. hello are there any online librarys of Label scans (45's) for northern/soul/rnb related stuff? cant seem to find any that arent related to sales stuff which of course disappears after a while... ta

  17. I had some good single boxes made by the "Master of Disaster" Kevin Lock, you can find him with that 'handle' over on the mod revival website.
  18. somebody must know the answer to this? The Modern Redcaps - never to young/ golden teardrops - Swan S4243- UK 60's DECCA style pressing, 4 pronged push out center, raised plastic ridge around the label edge - ie a genuine uk vinyl, however I do know these 60's type platters were used by EMI pressing plant till end of the 70's, cos I have some late punk records with this type of disc. numbers scratched in run off not stamped - "s+4243+g+b n ....with "OR" opposite (Aside). so is it an original or a boot ? i see a boot on ebay label is absolutely identical 4 prong center but cant see ridges in photo.. whereas on popsike there is one sold at $60 with a solid center? confused

    Last Day

Dick Jordan had 4 releases on Oriole - all 1960 - some of these days /I want her back on picadilly 35035 (1961). maybe it was meant to be on oriole in '60 but was shelved and released on piccidilly instead? makes that oriole demo very rare I think. (got the piccadilly copy last weekend by coincidence!)
  20. thanks for the replys - just curious really - but deffo not for sale! I picked them up at a car boot fair about 15 years ago for a £5 the pair which was very expensive then but they are in luvverly nick.
