  3. Yes i too had many great times at Prestatyn and i think the writing was on the board after the March event this year when the "new owners" chopped out acts and djs. Had a feeling October one was a none starter went last year it was great but i think new owners have got it wrong lets see. A big thank you to John Poole.The 2 Marks,and Of Course Rob Wigley for putting great events on and wonderful artists whats the bet 2012 March will happen !!

  6. Rob - Jerry/Sandra know they knew last thursday i informed Garry Churm friday night at my Modern Gig. Saw sandra last night in pub jerrys rang me toady with some of Deans fav.tunes just in process of digging them out to put a set together in the pub after the funeral. The Talbot by the side of it is gonna be MEGA BUSY and so is THE CREM. Hope to see a few old faces on Sat.in memory of Dean. PHIL K.

  9. Just Heard Some Sad News Of The Sudden Death Of Dean Greenway From Mansfield. If You Knew Dean He Was A great Character And Loved His Soul Music And Moter Bike Racing He will Be Sadly Missed By A Lot Of People Who Knew Him From the Soul Scene.He Was An old friend And A regular In the Talbot Pub In Mansfield Where I do a Soul Night And attended many a venue over the years. You will be missed mate my condolences to your Wife And Family R.I.P. Phil K.

Ok The Intention To Put A Palais Revival On Was Ok But They Should Have Stuck To Just Having THE DJs On Who Where There In The 70s/80s And In Later Years and Not Booking Big American Acts That Dont Come Cheap. Who Are They Anyway They Are Not Established Promoters Of BIG Venues And If Anyone Could Have Pulled This Off If They Wanted To Would Have Been Someone Like - Kev Roberts, John Poole,Who Know The Notts Scene. Putting Venues On Is Not Cheap With A lot Of Costs Ask Any Good Promoter Oceana For a Would Be Expensive To Hire Let Alone The Acts & Djs God Knows The Costs Involved. So Take Heed Next time When Another One Of These "Revivals"Are Advertised Check Out Who Is Promoting It And Have They The Balls & Guts To See It Through And Lets Get Back To Talking About Some Soul On This Site.
