Hi All, Does anybody know Jean-Mehdi Guenerie (or John Hernandez in the USA)? I had record order in from a French email address but he wants it shipped to John Hernandez in San Jose, USA (i've asked him a couple of questions - awaiting response? I believe Jean is Primate61 on Soul Source but isnt very active. I'm not overly concerned as Jean has paid via Paypal Friend and Family which is a good sign but was wondering is any one had dealt with him? (there is a bit of history on the name 'Mehdi' but I think (hope!) this is a completely different person).

Went to see Georgie Fame in playing Hornchurch last Friday - why not!!! A good night - more like 'an audience with' in a small room with only 100 like minded people there. Anecdotes as good as his music. Complete with Hammond organ on stage. Had a chat with him after and even got my copy of 'Daylight' signed.

Looking through one of my boxes and came across this. Can't remember where or when but Barbara Lewis & Betty Lavette were both at the same weekender. Southport? Cheethorpes? In the 90's. Anyone?

I bought my copy in that brief spell about 20 years ago when they were available for £80-£150 depending on who's box they were in. Does anyone know how many were found. Must have been a few as they were widely available - an impossible 45 and then it just appeared.

I had 8 or 9 copies in the 90s. Listed it for £25-£40 and it was a tough sell. All long gone. Sold my own copy last year for £700. Paul Capon
