Saw Bunny Sigler perform a few years back at an early Luxury Soul Weekender - he was in fine form and humorous character . When performing his rehearsal Friday went in to listen with a few Bunny Sigler 45's for him to sign. Striking up conversation he mentioned he toured the UK at the height of the disco Scene with The Trammps . When it came to signing a demo of ' Sunny Sunday ' he insisted it was not his recording. After a five minute discussion on his recordings and constantly saying' nope I did not record that ' he broke into song singing the lyrics with a massive smile on his face . A genuine , and humble musician - now's there's a rarity in today's celebrity driven world. Great singer , performer , and all round true gent. Oh , and yes he signed the Parkway demo of ' Sunny Sunday ' eventually ....

Just an add to this have some old Tommy Tate unreleased stuff from 1980 's that came courtesy Mike Ward - poor quality , but pretty sure they never gained a commercial release.... Will have to check the titles see if they got issued on the Japanese CD ' s .

Very true Pete - there are numerous examples of ' rare ' records that never turn up ....It all depends on what constitutes ' rare ' with regard to pressed quantities. I have a box full of records that only saw 150 / 200 quantity runs like Steve G states they ain't in price guides , and many others on here will have also. Does that make the rarity more elusive ? . No one can know everything about this music . Sandy Golden 's may well exist in the USA tucked away in collections. As we are unable to ask the aforementioned maybe we will never know . I 'll leave you with two interesting comments... Flowers 45 ' For Real ' recently sold for £1250 last month - in the early modern soul days I witnessed a dealer with a box of over 200 copies of this - so is it really that rare ? In 2005 I was purchasing a new laptop and struck up conversation with the young lad serving ' Oh my mum used to collect Northern soul - those jukebox 45's with the large hole - She let them all go last year as they had been in the loft storage for years , but had a ' Lady In Green ' by The Magnetics that she thought was the rarest 45 in her collection . Me : ' How much did she sell that for ?' Oh around £50 I think ... Makes you ponder sometimes......

Well Sag war fare is a four figure piece of vinyl on original. Raised in profile since Numero Group re - issued the 45 as part of their Numero 45 package last year . Even the second issue copy has been listed @ £100. Incidentally some members of the group are still performing around Florida... , and one of their sons was hawking the copyrights to interested parties prior to Numero signing last year .
