£150 seems like a bargain to me Is the Impact sound test press kosher? Never seen one of those but would love to have that version on original vinyl...

As stated above it was recorded twice, with the less "northern" one being released on Groovey Grooves 161. The one feat. on soulclub is unreleased on vinyl as far as I know and only available on the mentioned CD Northern Soul Of Philadelphia Vol 2 (Goldmine), a shame as I rate that version much higher. However the flip on the released version "The look in her eyes" ain´t a bad track either. I´ve only seen a couple of these for sale, with a great difference in price from around a £100 on Ebay to £300 on a british list. Manship guide says £400, I would think that a nice copy could be secured with £250 if it came up for sale, possibly less on Ebay.

Have this on a CD "Sound Of The Grapevine vol.1" and its great ! (as is the CD) But I can´t find the booklet and I´m wondering if this was released on vinyl in any format? Haven´t got my book near me but I think it was the local release before TAG but they both came out in the same year 1967. I think that on the TAG release Tommy Dodson is not credited as the lead as he is on the JO By release but again, I´m unsure. Might have been that he had already left to go solo when the released it on TAG. Anyone with some info? ATB Martin
