Don't know if this is of any relevance but I had a copy of 'Smoke Stream' Black & Silver Label which had a sticker on stating it was a BBC Radio Derby Library Copy ( Surely the Beeb wouldn't play boots !) or would they? Swifty

I'm probably out my depth here but surely anybody can put whatever price they want on a record ? who determines what it's worth , I agree if there are better copies known at half the price then surely if somebody buys it they haven't done their homework and as somebody else has stated if you were prepared to pay the asking price then you would think they know their stuff ? but I don't think you should comment on the price someone is asking, at the end of the day it will sell or won't! Just been playing 'Baby I'm Sorry" by Phillip & Lloyd (The Bluesbusters) on Scepter (it's on refosoul but don't know how to do) which I think is a classy crossover tune , so I thought I'd look on e-bay and see if there were other records by them I might like but the others seem to be Reggae titles. Remember getting a copy of L.J.Johnson on an emidisc before it got released and spending a full Sunday morning at work knocking up a 20th Century Label (because I was told that's what it was coming out on ! ) (work in graphic design but in those days it was Letraset & Cameras , no computers then matey!) Just bought a copy of L.J.REYNOLDS - ALL I NEED - BLACK LADY BL033 which arrived this morning. It actually has ALL I NEED on both sides, now the seller did mention this but just wondered if anyone else has this on both sides? It has the same Label/Song both sides but the others I've seen have COOKING WITH NIXON on the other side. The Label is Green and there is no mention of it being a demo or Promo copy. Any Ideas ?
