  1. Just wondering if THE ADMIRATIONS - HEAVEN IS IN YOUR ARMS / MY ADMIRATION FOR YOU - PAREE 117 has ever been booted , the reason I ask is someone I know is putting this up on ebay and after the last lot he put up (Pressings thinking they Originals !!) he's a bit wary. Apparently although it's labelled correctly it plays 'HEAVEN IS IN YOUR ARMS' both sides ! Any help please , so i can stop him making a Tw*t of himself like he did last time Cheers Swifty
  2. Some nice bits - DEE CLARK - GENE CHANDLER - JO ARMSTEAD - etc.etc. https://www.ebay.co.u...sid=p4340.l2562 Please have a look , you never know I will always refund if not happy Cheers Swifty

  4. Met Tamiko Jones at Cleethorpes Winter gardens , sure she was with Chris Hill (Canvey Island) was talking to her at the bar for about 10mins and didn't realise who she until someone asked her to sign his copy of 'Spellbound'! Seem to remember she had leather trousers and waistcoat on showing plenty of jubbly , if you know what I mean , fit as ! Chris Hill was a nice bloke also (diidn't fancy him tho') and even said if we went down to the 'Goldmine' we could crash at his ! top bloke ! Cheers Swifty p.s. went on the Soultrip USA to new York and was outside the Hotel having a fag and this little Black fella with a white hat on (can I say that ?) asked me for a light , got chatting and it was Sidney Barnes !!!!

  8. Yes that's right Pete it's a really amatuerish Black & White photo job , got a box of 45's in the 70's (2-300) of an amusement arcade owner who used to come to our pub , knew I collected records and dropped this box round , all mint with the label corners all stapled! Tons of Reggae Camel, Unity , Parrot?, Island most I'd never heard of. the only US 45's were Florence Ballad - Love Aint Love (I Think ) 10 Copies and Guy Marks - Loving You has made me bananas !!! Cheers Swifty

  13. Remember being at a Nighter in Leeds with Rob Thomas & Andy Rix ,and we were all sat around a table with 'Chaddie' (I Think that's what he was called?) Rob said to me how much do you think that record box is worth? (Chaddie's) no Idea says I , looking through I've never seen owt like it . There were 2 Robbie Lawsons in it and loads more big stuff , how greedy is that ? Another story how he funded them though? and the box was supposed to worth upwards of £150,000 !!!!!!!!!! Them good old days eh! Cheers Swifty

  19. Mine seems to change every couple of weeks Andy , some nights when I play stuff at home it's all fast 60's (traditional style , if you know what I mean) . Then I go through phases of playing Modern (70's even 80's dancers) . The other night I started playing a few of my Motown label 45's of which I've never had many but realised how many great dancers there are . Ive just bought some more 70's 45's so I guess that's the flavour of the month! Confused of Louth Swifty
