  7. Thanks Gents Swifty
  8. Just received a copy of EDDIE GARRIGAN - I WISH I WAS - FONTANA off ebay and am pretty sure it's an original but need confirmation. It's Styrene , Pale Blue label with Black text but it doesn't have the 2 Stars either side of the title as on most of the copies I've seen in the past and googled but I would have thought they would only appear on the White demo? It also has a handstamped 'Promotional copy not for sale' on the 'Mail Call' side. It's Mint in a Fontana sleeve If it is an original what would be the going rate Cheers Swifty p.s. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea . mine neither but took a chance on it as you do

  15. Mick , the only reason I thought it was South African was after I looked through the rest of the listings as a lot seemed to be SA, it has nothing to do with my knowledge mate as I only buy USA stuff . Also agree with what you say about the Temprees , done some cracking stuff mate and cheap. Cheers Swifty
  16. I reckon it always goes wrong when I put some sales on , as I only ever sell a few and usually for F**k All! Cheers Lucky Eddie p.s. note to self , must try and sell Boots as they fetch more than originals !

  18. Cheers Sean , seems a good mistake to make though or would Jackey have not been registered as the writer? Cheers Swifty p.s. Posted Bettye tonight mate , if you know what I mean
  19. Just got a copy of Jackey Beavers - Never Found a Girl -Seventy Seven DJ Copy 1973 and noticed the writing credits are (Jackey Beavers)? but on my Eddie Floyd - Never Found a Girl - Stax Demo June 7 1968 the writing credits are (B.Jones - E.Floyd - A. Isabell) ? Hows that work then ? I thought the Eddie Floyd was obviously the original , so how can somebody else claim they wrote it , who would get the royalties ? just wondering , I know not rarities but nice tune all the same Cheers Swifty
