  11. 2 or 3 years ago I won a copy of DEE EDWARDS - I CAN DEAL WITH THAT for a very good price and noticed on the label was written 'Doris' twice , so I presumed that whoever once owned it was called Doris (No shit Sherlock , eh?) . I then looked up Dee Edwards on Wikipedia and found out that her real name was Doris Jean Harrell . I just wonder if it was her own copy or just coincidence will never know. here's the one I had https://www.popsike.com/DEE-EDWARDS-RARE-DETO-LBL-I-CAN-DEAL-WITH-THAT-HEAR/260720400667.html Cheers Swifty

  17. Used to get various packs from Soul Bowl and Blues & Soul , the Blues & Soul ones tended to have loads of Chess/Checker stuff but remember getting The Falcons - I'm a fool I must love you , and lots of slow stuff which I binned and I now know it to be called Xover !! The Soul Bowl ones that come to mind where Innersection and Mighty Lovers on Soulhawk , those were the days , eh? Swifty

  20. There used to be a little second hand shop in Grimsby (railway st. I think?) and in the main shop were Prams , coffe tables and bric a brac but in a little room at the back there were loads of US import 45's and a few albums. All the 45's were unplayed and seem to think a lot had that import sticker on the cover. There were multiple copies of Leah Dawson on Magic City W/Demos plus Jackie Lee - Oh my Darling issues and lots of Chess stuff , also Mad dog & the Pups on Magic City (Yellow & Black ??). Remember buying a couple of copies of Billy Harner - She's Almost You which came in a sort of crap picture cover with an iron on transfer in it . Happy days eh? Swifty
