Jealous as F**k reading stuff like this Alan , it must have been like being a kid in a candy store ! I suppose a lot of the stuff was bought blind because it was so cheap or could you actually listen to the records before you bought them? Did you send the vinyl back to the uk by freight/courier etc or did you carry it back in luggage and if so did you have to pay any duty/taxes? So many questions eh! Cheers Swifty p.s. what would you say would be the best area in the States to find vinyl nowadays or has it all been tapped (but it's a bloody big place!)

Didn't get my fix until I popped home at lunchtime. So whilst having my ham butty & Coffee I popped the following 3 on the deck 1. Jackie Day - Before it's too Late - Modern (Arrived in the post this morning) 2. Ron Keith & Ladies - Cant Live without you - A&M (Unusual sound but love it to bits) 3. Little Helen - Can't get enough - Soultown (Cracking bit of cross over IMHO) Cheers Swifty

In the last hour I have put my first Records to sell on ebay and when I got to the postage bit I went on the postage calculator to work the costings out for UK , Europe & the USA so i could just charge what it was going to cost me (no extra !) but when I came to submit it told me that I can't charge for P & P, is this right ?? So my first ever 3 sales on ebay are free P&P. any info much appreciated to this ebay virgin Cheers Swifty -

John , can you as a seller, cancel something you have on e-bay if somebody does make an offer you cant refuse. as I said I dont know the rules of E-bay. Swifty:thumbsup:
