  1. Some fcker paid £456 for a copy on JM's auction not long back, obviously more money than sense cos that's about £400 too much. Would have thought 60-70 is about right. Sold an issue not long back for £60 but can't remember whether it was mono or stereo Mick

The worst news I've had since Otis died. A true legend the world is a sadder place today. But at least the music will live on RIP LEVI the best motown ever had
  6. Always one on the bay and they all sell for around £300. Seems overpriced to me considering the numbers of them probably £150 - £200 is a fairer price.
  7. major lance dont you know that i love you......chooon Also like Johnny Williams "Just a little misunderstanding" but my fave is J J Barnes flip to the awful "The Errol FLynn" "She's Mine" CHOOON Mick W
  8. Junior Walkers version is the best by far IMHO Also versions by Coon Elder Band on Mercury and B J Thomas on Sceptre LP Everybody's out of town both are decent versions Mick W

  18. Thought it was Italian only on RCA, but I maybe wrong
  19. Hard to find. Paid £75 for my copy complete with picture sleeve. Not as good as D Banks IMHO but not a bad version. Have played it out a couple of times
  20. JM got £358 for my copy of the test press complete with the release sheet
  21. Was at Friendship the other week and in over 6hrs only one record was played twice and that was in the first and last spots. But the DJ's were in the venue all night listening to each other. So the answer would seem to be as Steve say's " get in early and listen to what's been played". ie COMMON SENSE
