  1. Aye - belting read
  2. It certainly was more difficult then, what with dodgy train and bus services, little cash and good gear ;0) - but I'm pleased it was.
  3. Agreed. Back int theighties, we used to thumb it to venues if train fare wasn't available....none of this having a car luxury and cushty hotel malarky....just before we cracked thice ont pond wi' our Grans falsies. ...and as for air fare haha
  4. I've got a one sided UK centred white label pressing of this, had it years - any ideas?
  5. Mate - make that text bigger!
  6. Horses for courses - choose the right racecourse and you'll have no problem ay?
  7. Hi Matt - why have you posted this on here mate?
  8. Go on....get it out man.
  9. That is for you to decide.
  10. I pose some questions on this site with a knowing hesitancy as to what road half the replies are going to go down, which can be tiresome really but I do it anyway I suppose just to prove mesen right. As for a definition, you should know by now what would be the relevant quality productions, major and Indie that would deem me posing such a question on a site inhabited by so called muso's.
  11. I have a cassette recording of Ronnie and his band appearance @ Kev Edwards Carlton Sunday sessions in the late 80's - it is fantastic quality, we taped it through the house system. Some nice banter between Ronnie and the crowd etc - especially when the crowd asked for an, at the time, unreleased track which confused Ronnie some, he asks how did they know that specific track as no-one has it - to which the reply comes loud and clear - "Richard Searling" ;0) Anyways, how would I go about uploading a cassette recording to the net?
  12. Well thought out mate - cheers
  13. Are we now grown up enough to understand it? Discuss
  14. Imagine what could happen if you lived in Ipswich ;0)...."don't F*ck with the Wongs" brother man.
  15. Off the record (scuse the pun)...had a chat with Pete earlier about the 'Long Arm Of The Soulie' ;0)...and I have, in the past given, had an Austrian lads windows put through after he stuffed me for a oner on a 12" on Ebay. Be warned Suckers - some of us are more than able to bite your arses back. Proper!! hehe
  16. I am now so positive you don't know Chalks.
  17. I went for a pint on the veranda with Darrow @ SSW last weekend and got a good half hour spiritual schooling
  18. Nasty business when they got you by the Ebay knackers ay Pete?! I sent a mint (£26) album to New Zealand only to have the guy come back and say it was trashed to the point it wouldn't play and he'd thrown it in the bin - asked him to return it and was told it would cost £14 to do so at which point he said he would leave me neg feedback for reviewing the condition so incorrectly, so had to refund him the £26. He got the album and his cash back - some dodgy, dodgy agenda-ridden basket cases out there.
  19. Not left me playing out box in twenty odd years - love it to bits, album mix is cool too.
  20. Just been watching Hardcore Pawn and heard a hip hop cut up of the Grange Hill theme of all things - cool though - them boys sample anything.
  21. The drain-holes in the piss stones went staright through to the beach/water.
  22. I can remember the order of the wood panels on the wall in M's foyer - I won't bore you with it.
