  1. Yes Dave - learning to DJ is very like learning to drive - car crash after car crash
  2. I remember doing my first 'big' do as it were in the mid 80's with Ray Rose and Kev Edwards and was terribly nervous, felt all eyes were on me etc - I had lined up to open with a Darryle Chin - Baja Pacifica 7". Anyway I turn round to straighten my box up as Kev is finishing and he's on the mic - hands over to me - I give it a bit of blurb and hit the Start button. Darryle Chin bangs out.....at 33 rpm. Fecking Ray Rose had changed the speed just before I opened. I died.
  3. There was a family of these little monkeys around the pool on holi - couldn't manage to snap one in it's entireity as they were a tad nervy, always lost the tail:

  8. Sit down - you have no idea.
  9. I see an awful lot of bastardised versions of this.
  10. ...cos I was laughing mate.
  11. The band in the bar we frequented on holiday last week did a fine rendition of it as it happens.
  12. ...and when I think of the Parr Hall - I don't think of big pants
  13. I'm not talking about 'uniforms' or anything else that anyone else has ever done or wore on this scene Mark - I'm talking about 'my' scene as this is what this is to me. I'm talking about how I see how this scene has developed me as a person, it's not done me one bit of harm - and made me fairly un-shockable in life too haha. If ever at one point a bloke in daft pants changes your view on this scene - then, sorry, you need to get a grip.
  14. ...while I'm waiting for an answer I'll tell you what does embarrass me, some of the 'this scene of ours' smug bobbins that gets talked about on here...there's so much stuff spouted on here that appears to be said simply to garner some form of affirmation from others There!
  15. What's 'completely wrecked' Steve? I've never once felt embarrassed by this, not once - I sometimes wonder what some of you actually think 'this' is all about!?
  16. ...I'm quite pleased they don't
  17. Marvell Love always batters me head - I have a fairly good memory but just cannot remember it at Wigan - was always a Rotherham record in my head.
  18. What a ridiculous, RIDICULOUS thing to say btw
