  1. At work presently mate, pm you shortly.
  2. Thanks for the nod Sooty and you'd be welcome anytime. I must say though that it's just a small bar I do - a very nice small bar like - but don't expect a full dancefloor or owt like that - it serves great beers and does what it does really well but it's not a Soulies Paradise, just an older crowd who like great music.
  3. On the mat when I came in: The Chocolate Boys - Voltaire Pier https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rosxaZx6gY4 ...and one I've had for years, and then realised that I didn't anymore when I spotted it on the Bay and realised I hadn't seen it in years: Paulette Reaves - I'm A Jazz Freak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-fxUfW9hbQ
  4. I tried pretentious once but it just wasn't moi.
  5. Fair do's Mike but I must add that the 'in your face flyers' come out that way when I post 'em - I did not make them particularly large as to make them 'in your face'. No need for a reply - wrists slapped.
  6. Waiting for Masseys list before I post last months lot.
  7. Prices to follow mate?
  8. Stay away from these then Ivor
  9. Looking at Popsike for Earl Gains... https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=earl+gains&x=0&y=0 ......the copy I sold had a tight edge crack which was going nowhere unless you were really clumsy, there was a single click when the stylus hit the run-in groove and one dull one on the next rotation as the drums came in and that was it - it was as clean as a whistle otherwise - so I can see why the lad who paid £26 was happy with it.
  10. I got £26 for a cracked Earl Gains last week....don't know if that's good or bad?
  11. Congrats lads - had me arse kicked off a couple of times - but I think I've learned

  14. I got £160 for one about a year back.
  15. "Oh I try too hard now baby To get you to see things like me Oh oh ay - it just ain't easy Tryin' to live in the world today!" "My, my my oh my little baby Why do you wanna leave me baby And keep on running away? Bits n Pieces - Keep On Running Away A big run to the floor record for me at Wigan. First and last verses of a record that still has the power to make this bloke cry. The combination of the screaming falsetto lead, falsetto's are normally used in a 'sweet' way and the to and fro-ing of the male and female backing singers, coupled with THOSE horns and drum patterns...simply play after play to this present day, it slays me. I've never heard anything that comes near it for screaming passion...Anything. Great thread.
