So JM has a Curtis - How Can I Tell Her - Charm City 1879 up for auction and in the description it states it’s the rarer version to the common MD 1932 mix, now I thought it was the other way round? Thoughts?

I’d say you’re right Chris, I had a look this morning and all 7 inch copies on Discogs have gone since yesterday, a future collectible indeed.

And this is the problem with this scene, it’s in demand so I’ll immediately inflate the price, not based on any precedent but the most I could possibly earn on it. YOU KEEP THE FAITH, I’ll keep the cash.

Don’t get me wrong Mark I’d love and prefer the 45 but not at the price it’s at today, At the start of this week it was being sold at £50 and today I’ve seen two, one at £249.99 and another at £150, I think at that sort of inflation over a short period Alan Sugar might invest.

I ordered one from Dusty Groove at around 8:00 this morning, they never said sold out but when I checked just now there’s no picture of the 45. I’ll wait till I get a definite confirmation but the payment went through. Let’s see!!

Well they themselves seem to be promoting the fact that a 45 is available in some US shops so I’m with Chalky.
