When its a buy it now the distance selling regulations come into effect which means that a buyer is free to decide they don't want the goods for whatever reason within the cooling off period and return them for a full refund. IMO its only fair that a seller has the same opportunity.

I can't believe you're seriously considering leaving negative feedback when you got a full refund and the seller was helpful etc...leave negative feedback for genuine bad experiences. The seller has tried to do the right thing, hoping to avoid negative feedback - try and see it the other way round, if he knew you were going to neg him, he wouldn't have been so reasonable and wouldn't have refunded you

If you have to refund him just claim the cash off royal mail as they lost the record - so long as its not worth more than £46.

In the UK, standard 1st class small packet price is £2.70 1st class up to 750g, so you can send 10 records for £2.70

small packet - will cost about £3.60, maybe £4.22 tops for 3 45s in a mailer with 2 stiffeners to France

Give him negative feedback - you've had a bad experience which was all his fault and he's done nothing to put it right or help out at all. It's what feedback is for
