Bev had an accident and Dave has been working away from home, so next edition has been put on hold for moment.

Got the book myself, but couldn't remember the passage you quoted. We'll have to see if anybody else can come up with one.

So this could be the only Singleton credited Motown release then.
-
Just played Four Tops "Don't bring back memories" in the shop and notice it's written by Raynoma Singleton the former Mrs Gordy, are there any other Motown release were Berry Gordy has allowed the Singleton credit.

Copies 3 & 4 are rare issues as they were printed in low numbers and not reprinted like copies 1 & 2 were, from issue 5 onwards I think they got the numbers printed correct for the demand. Good luck in your search.
-
All depends whether he wants that label release.
-
Defo The Bamboos, played at Cleethorpes why people give an opinion when they weren't at Cleethorpes is beyond me as the question was what was the version played there.
-
The only way you can list a boot on ebay and not have some people think it's an original is to state it as a re-issue, price and number of bids on it tends to indicate that it's not an original, buyers should always be aware and ask questions if not 100% sure.

Soulhawk or Westbound release??????? they have different flip sides.
-
This is total crap half the US re-issues are not fucking legal for starters even when they go in the shops, this has been going on in the US since the late 50's. If a label has done a press for whatever market it's legal.
-
10p is correct or 5p if you start below a £1.00
-
You can't mention bootleg on ebay as it will be pulled, some boots are collectable and are over 30yrs old so if you're not sure ask on here or get yourself the bootleg guide.
-
I've got some Al Sharp solo 45's from the mid 70's on GTO if I remember correctly I guess it's the same guy.
-
Don't agreed John I could do a full spot of Wigan Oldies and a certain crowd would stand about moaning that I wasn't playing oldies, they only dance to about 50-100 records when there are thousands of classic oldies.
-
Not commenting on whether it's a boot or not but I had a load of Coasters R&R 45's (Not Crazy Baby) with flakey Atco labels also had numerous other Acto labels like this so it's not unusal.
-
DJM was a different mix if I remember rightly and came out years after the Jayboy release and why anybody would think the original was on DJM is beyond me.
-
Not everyone wants to collect original vinyl, they just want it on vinyl.
-
Both sides played in the Casino, the flip side "I KNOW" is out and out northern, if played today people would be asking what it was.
-
Another one not in the book then, must admit I thought the yellow were original never seen a blue one.
